* Day 21 – Lessons

I like this one, actually.

What three lessons do you want your children to learn from you?

I want kids in my future, no matter how I have to do it, and this is what I plan on teaching them.

  1. Value – I grew up in a modest family. We weren’t poor by any means but we didn’t drive Porches either. This lifestyle really helped me to understand certain values in life. One is being money, and that is really only has value when it’s been earned. Another is family values. I know I value my family more now than I did when I was a kid, cause, in my defense I was just a kid. But, we were always pretty close and talked to each other, went on camping trips, vacations together. It’s a value that not everyone gets to experience is it’s one that I will 100% instill in my children.
  2. Identity – The only way to be happy with yourself, is to be yourself. Don’t go around life and do everything in your power to be like someone else. This goes for any sexuality you are, I don’t care. But just be yourself. The best thing about being yourself, is that literally no one else in the universe can be you too; cause you’re already doing it.
  3. Education – This seems like it would go without saying, a parent wanting their kids to be educated, but it’s true. I honestly could have put this in the Value part, but this is more than just going to school. I waited too long to go back to school once I withdrew my first semester of college, and wish I never did that. Yes, college is expensive, but do it the right way, and it’s worth more than you can imagine. Education is also meant to imply to do research, discover, question everything you come across. Don’t assume everything you hear is correct or accurate. With the way technology can be (especially in their generation), everything is spread like wildfire and it’s hard to trust anything. Question everything.

There is always more to teach little ones, but they only asked for three. I do hope someday to be able to share what ‘little’ I know in life. Kids have a way of teaching us as well and I look forward to that. ##

* Day 20 – Celeb Crushes

Day 20 of the writing challenge…

Post about three celebrity crushes.

Mkay. I’m not really one to have these, cause I’m not a fourteen, but, I do have a couple of people in mind that I will mention.

MV5BNzg3MTgwOTgzMV5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTgwODIxMTUwMjE@._V1_UY1200_CR85,0,630,1200_AL_The first name that comes to mind is… Chris Pratt. I mean, just look at him. I first saw him on Parks and Rec as Andy, and he is just the cutest man ever. Not only is he just adorable and sexy, but he’s really funny and an all around good person. It broke my heart to hear about his recent divorce from Anna, they seemed so good together. He is one of those actors that I will watch, no matter what movie it is. *cough* Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 *cough* (it was garbage, but he was still good)

US-PREMIERE-AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRONSecond one is Thor. AKA Chris Hemsworth. The British accent really gives him some points here. I recently saw Ragnarok on theaters… twice… and it was seriously so good. He is much funnier than I remember him. AND he looks good with long or short hair! That is hard to pull off for some guys! I don’t know much background or real life things about him, but he seems like a good person and that’s all I need to know. ūüôā

3e8e63860c9cec1bdcc1886838e96d7b--chris-evans-chris-deliaApparently I have a things for Chris’s… My final one is none other than Captain America himself, Chris Evans. The eyes, man… the eyes. I have probably had a “crush” on him longer than the other two Chris’s, but I’ve known more movies with him in it. His performance as Captain America though is pretty great. That super tight blue uniform, showin’ off all kinds of muscles and things. Mm.

Well that’s my Chris list. Ladies, you’re welcome. ūüėČ ##

* Day 19 – First Love

Discuss your first love.

This is a toughy for me, because I’m not sure if I should talk about the first guy I THOUGHT I was in love with, or the first one I was actually in love with. Let’s do both.

When I was growing up, in the ‘new age’ of technology and computers, I had my fair share of going to chat rooms. Mostly, AOL and the blue and red user names, asking your ‘A/S/L’ (age, sex, location). Which, come to think of it, was like the perfect question for pedo’s to ask. Hmmm… Oh well. I met a lot of people, guys, this way. One I remember to this day was a guy named Gene. I talked to him every single day. When I got home from school, I would immediately jump on the computer to instant message him, hoping he was also by his computer. (Old school, am I right?) Him and I both said I love you to each other all the time, and he even sent me a huge bouquet of flowers on Valentines day. (Literally, the one and only time I’ve ever gotten roses for V-Day.) He lived in Wisconsin I believe, and I was in Illinois. We never met though… I was never in love with him though, looking back on it.

My first actual love was Chandler. I met him on a dating website actually and he only lived one town over. I was about 21 or so, and of course we met in real life and dated on and off for about 5 years. I may not love him anymore, but I definitely did love him when we were dating. We had so much in common and had great chemistry. Even talked about getting married one day (planned colors and everything). We broke up several times over silly things, and some not so silly things. I moved out of state for a fresh start for myself, and we somehow started talking again and he moved out here for me. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out. We fought almost every day. He then moved back after only a few months.

And now I’m single cause, as I’ve mentioned, I suck at relationships. ūüôā ##

* Day 17 – Zodiacs

Uggggg, really? Do I really have to do this one? >.>

Post about your zodiac sign, and whether or not it fits you.

This is pulled from a website when looking up Scorpio. I will put my commentary in [ ] ‘s.

Element:¬†Water [Why? Aren’t scorpions desert critters?]

Quality: Fixed [No clue what this means]

Color: Scarlet, Red, Rust [I actually am not a fan of red at all]

Day: Tuesday [Fridays]

Ruler: Pluto, Mars [Ooh, I do like these two planets!]

Greatest Overall Compatibility: Taurus, Cancer [I think my sister is a cancer]

Lucky Numbers: 8, 11, 18, 22 [Nope, 9]

Date range: October 23 РNovember 21 [October 26th, just made the cut!]

Strengths:¬†Resourceful, brave, passionate, stubborn, a true friend [….really hate that this is accurate]

Weaknesses:¬†Distrusting, jealous, secretive, violent [omg, stop it… I mean, no, I’m none of these things! >.>¬† <.<¬† >.> ]

Scorpio likes: Truth, facts, being right, longtime friends, teasing, a grand passion [A grand passion? Who says that?]

Scorpio dislikes:¬†Dishonesty, revealing secrets, passive people [Dishonesty would line up with liking truth… good detective work]

Scorpio-born are passionate and assertive people. They are determined and decisive, and will research until they find out the truth. Scorpio is a great leader, always aware of the situation and also features prominently in resourcefulness. [Mkay, lemme stop you there. I’m rarely assertive and definitely not a great leader. I have found this out the hard way.]

Scorpio is a Water sign and lives to experience and express emotions. Although emotions are very important for Scorpio, they manifest them differently than other water signs. In any case, you can be sure that the Scorpio will keep your secrets, whatever they may be. [Oh. This is what water sign meant. Yeah, they got me here. I’m pretty damn emotional…]

Pluto is the planet of transformation and regeneration, and also the ruler of this zodiac sign. Scorpios are known by their calm and cool behavior, and by their mysterious appearance. [aka ‘Bitch-face’] People often say that Scorpio-born are fierce, probably because they understand very well the rules of the universe. [*rolling eyes soooo hard*] Some Scorpio-born can look older than they actually are. [I still get carded for alcohol and I’m almost 30.] They are excellent leaders because they are very dedicated to what they do. [Again, not accurate] Scorpios hate dishonesty and they can be very jealous and suspicious, so they need to learn how to adapt more easily to different human behaviors. [So, is this just summing up everything from earlier?] Scorpios are brave and therefore they have a lot of friends. [No. I have a very close tight group of friends. Like, you can count them on one hand.]

Well, that’s all. As you might be able to tell, I’m not a fan of these. It’s total hokum and no proof these are accurate with birth. It depends on many other factors other than the universe ‘picking’ your personality. Either way, hope you enjoyed! Let me know your signs and if you agree! ##
